The Community Fine Arts Center in Rock Springs Wyoming presents America's 250th: A Semiquincentinnial Community Show. This patriotic exhibition combines themes of many facets of American life, and includes art by Sweetwater County artists, as well as art "from the vault" of the CFAC collection; rarely out on display. The exhibition also includes an interactive exhibit, where patrons can add photos or handmade art trading cards to our Capture the Spirit of America gallery display. The America's 250th C0mmunity Show will be on display from June 10th-July 11th and is funded in part by a Culture Grows Grant from Wyoming Humanities. There will be an Exhibition Open House for this show will be July 1st from 4-6pm The Community Fine Arts center in Rock Springs, Wyoming is an art lovers jewel in southwest Wyoming's high desert country-a cultural oasis offering a permanent collection, as well as a changing display of fine art. Paintings by Norman Rockwell, Grandma Moses, Illya Bolotowsky, Raphael Soyer, Carl Link,  and Rufino Tamayo compose some of the permanent collection, along with paintings, lithographs, and sculpture by well known Wyoming, Western, and local artists. The CFAC is located at 400 C St, Rock Springs WY. It is attached to the C ST Library and may be accessed from the CFAC specific C St Entrance on the right of the building, or through the main library entrances. CFAC hours: Monday-Thursday: 10am-6pm Friday and Saturday: 12pm-5pm Sunday: Closed
