The documentary film “Legacy For a Nation: Journey’s to Carbon County, Wyoming,” is a key event at the Carbon County 250 Celebration, July 10 at the Union Pacific Depot Park in Rawlins. The film will show three times at 4:30, 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. all take place at Depot Park in downtown Rawlins. They are part of a much bigger event that will include presentations, historical comments, and awards including recognition of the winners of the Youth Art and Writing Contest beginning at 5:30 p.m. The Grand Encampment Cowboy Gathering will provide live music at 6:30 p.m., there will be a star-spangled dance presentation at 7, and then live music by Still House Blues starts at 7:30 p.m. The event will have food trucks, booths by museums from throughout the county, cake, and a cornhole tournament.
