KC Fight Historical Marker Dedication

In honor of America's 250th a new historical marker overlooking the historic 1892 Kaycee Fight has been built, and we will be dedicating this marker and commemorating the 250th together on July 11, 2026 at 9 am. The crowd will meet at the Harold Jarrard Park and walk to marker site, where the history of the site will be discussed by knowledgeable historians. The spirit of 1776 will be connected to the sentiment driving the history discussed. The marker will be unveiled and dedicated, as well as supporters and officials recognized. Visitors may wish to visit the museum afterwards and view related artifacts and displays.
