As our nation approaches its 250th anniversary in 2026, communities across the United States are coming together to share food, stories, and connection through America’s Potluck — a nationwide invitation to gather around the table and celebrate what unites us. Wyoming 250 is proud to join this national initiative as part of the America 250 commemoration. On July 5, 2026, residents across the state are encouraged to host potlucks in their towns, neighborhoods, parks, and community centers. These shared meals reflect the Wyoming spirit — friendly, welcoming, and deeply rooted in community. America’s Potluck is designed to bring people together through one of our most universal traditions: food. From backyard barbecues to neighborhood suppers and community picnics, each event is an opportunity to connect across generations, share favorite recipes, and reflect on what belonging and freedom mean 250 years after the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Host a Potluck in Your Community Wyoming 250 invites individuals, families, and organizations to plan and host their own America’s Potluck gatherings throughout 2026. Events can be large or small, indoors or outdoors — what matters most is bringing people together to celebrate our shared story. How to Participate:- Plan a potluck event in your community — large or small, indoors or outdoors.
- Invite neighbors, friends, and local organizations to share a meal and a story.
- Submit your event to Wyoming250.com to be featured on the statewide calendar! The information will also be shared on the official America’s Potluck site, which will be included in the national celebration.
